For the fourth time, music from recording artist Eddy Puyol has been featured during a CBS telecast of a Miami Dolphins game.
The latest placement occurred on Sunday, August 10, when Puyol’s energetic track “It’s Over (Game Over)” was used in the opening of the Dolphins preseason matchup against the Chicago Bears, aired locally on WFOR-TV (CBS4).
This marks another chapter in a long-running relationship between Puyol’s music and CBS Miami’s Dolphins coverage. In 2014, former head coach Joe Philbin showcased Puyol’s track “Game Changer” during a regular segment on his weekly coach’s show. The song became a signature for standout performances, and each week the “Game Changer” branded T-shirt was awarded to the player earning that title. The track was also featured in a pregame highlight reel during a game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
In 2015, Puyol’s motivational anthem “Go Hard,” featuring West Coast artist Transparent, was used during another preseason matchup against the Bears. Two years later, in 2017, his hard-hitting collaboration “Shut It Down” with Houston’s PyRexx was featured during the Dolphins vs. Vikings preseason game.
“I’m thankful that I can still produce songs that resonate with the sports world,” said Puyol. “I’m looking forward to how this song continues to impact the sports community and prayerfully becomes a go-to record to play after a team has sealed the W.”
Puyol, known for fusing faith, energy, and motivation in his music, continues to create tracks that energize both fans and athletes — making a strong impact across the music and sports worlds.
